Addressing Emerging and Complex Youth Needs
There are times when a young person or family may need more focused support.
YGOS provides counselling and specialised services for youths and families facing personal, emotional, relationship or other more complex challenges.
Our aim is to provide a safe and respectful space where people can talk openly, work through what they are facing and find a way forward.

YGOS Counselling Services

Our counselling services support young people and families through a range of personal, emotional and relationship challenges.
Our counsellors work with each person to understand what they are going through and provide support that is appropriate to their needs and circumstances.
Support for Youths and Families
Specialised Support Pathway for Youth (S3P)

YGOS provides specialised support for young people who may need additional help during periods of instability or transition.
Through the Specialised Support Pathway for Youth (S3P), support may include transitional accommodation and co-living arrangements alongside guidance and ongoing support.
Support When a Young Person Needs Somewhere Safe
Hidden Youth / Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEETs)

Some young people may have withdrawn from school, work or social activities, making it harder for them to access support or find their way forward.
Reaching Youths Who Are Harder to Reach
YGOS seeks to reach and engage these youths, building relationships and providing guidance to help them reconnect with opportunities for learning, employment and community participation.
