Rehabilitation & Aftercare
Supporting Youths as They Start Again
Rehabilitation is about more than completing a programme. For young people preparing to return to their families and communities, what happens next matters too.
YGOS works alongside youths during rehabilitation and through the transition that follows, helping them strengthen relationships, prepare for what comes next and stay connected to support.

Community Rehabilitation Centre (CRC)

Since May 2020, YGOS has served as the Managing Agent of the Community Rehabilitation Centre (CRC), following its appointment by the Singapore Prison Service (SPS).
CRC provides a structured residential environment for young offenders, offering rehabilitation support through counselling, personal development and guidance as they prepare for reintegration into the community.
A Structured Environment for Change
Reformative Training Centre (RTC) Case Management

In April 2024, YGOS and REACH Community Services formed a consortium and were appointed by the Singapore Prison Service (SPS) to provide case management services for youths undergoing reformative training.
Supporting the Transition Back to Community
Aftercare Programme / Long-term Mentorship

The aim is not simply to help youths stay on track, but to give them a community they can remain connected to. Over time, some may also choose to use their own experiences to encourage and support others.
Leaving a structured programme can bring a new set of challenges. Returning home, going back to school, finding work and rebuilding relationships all take time.
Our aftercare work provides continued relationships and mentorship as young people adjust to life after their formal programme.
Staying Connected After the Programme
Our Impact Outcomes
Supporting Change That Lasts
Our rehabilitative and aftercare work focuses on four key outcomes:
Reduced Reoffending
Supporting young people in making positive choices and reducing the risk of further offending.
Sustained Recovery
Helping youths build on their progress and navigate challenges beyond rehabilitation.
Stronger Family & Community Connections
Strengthening the relationships and support networks that help youths reintegrate into everyday life.
Improved Opportunities for Independent Living
Supporting young people in developing the skills and connections they need to move towards greater independence.
Rehabilitation Takes a Community
A young person's return to the community does not happen in isolation.
We work alongside families, schools, employers, government agencies and community partners to strengthen the support around each young person and help make that transition more sustainable.
