Community Rehabilitation Centre (CRC)
Supporting Young People Through Rehabilitation
The Community Rehabilitation Centre (CRC) provides a structured residential environment for young offenders, allowing them to continue their education or employment while undergoing rehabilitation.
Appointed by the Singapore Prison Service (SPS), YGOS has served as the Managing Agent of CRC since May 2020, providing counselling, guidance and developmental support to help youths reflect on their choices, build practical skills and prepare for reintegration into family and community life.

About CRC
A Structured Environment for Change
CRC provides youths with structure, guidance and support as they work through the circumstances that brought them into the programme.
Through counselling, personal development and day-to-day support, youths are encouraged to reflect on their choices, take responsibility for their actions and develop the skills they need to move forward.
The programme also prepares youths for life beyond CRC, including their relationships with family, education, employment and the wider community.

Rehabilitation At CRC
Supporting Different Areas of a Young Person’s Life
Rehabilitation involves more than addressing the behaviour that led a young person to CRC.
YGOS works with youths across different areas of their development, helping them strengthen their ability to make decisions, manage challenges and build healthier relationships.
Support may include counselling, personal development, practical life skills and preparation for reintegration into the community.

Family & Community
Preparing for the Transition Home
Returning to everyday life can bring a new set of challenges.
Where appropriate, YGOS works with families and other partners involved in the young person’s rehabilitation to support this transition and help create a stronger environment for continued progress.

Working With Partners
Supporting Reintegration Together
Successful reintegration involves the people and systems around a young person.
YGOS works alongside families, agencies and community partners to strengthen the support available to youths as they move forward after Reformative Training.
