Cyber Outreach
Connecting With Youths Online
The Mobile Outreach Support Team (M.O.S.T.) brings youth outreach directly into the community, supported by an electric outreach van funded by SP Group.
Youth workers spend time in places where young people naturally gather, connecting through conversations, activities and regular interactions. This gives them the opportunity to get to know youths in a familiar setting and offer support when challenges arise.
Young people spend a significant part of their lives online, whether gaming, socialising or simply spending time with their friends.
Through Cyber Outreach, supported by SP Group through Community Chest, YGOS youth workers connect with youths in these digital spaces. These interactions create another way for youth workers to build relationships, stay connected and be available when a young person needs support.

M.O.S.T. & Cyber Outreach
Meeting Youths Where They Are
Through the Mobile Outreach Support Team (M.O.S.T) and Cyber Outreach, YGOS connects with youths in the spaces where they already spend time, from neighbourhoods and public spaces to gaming and online communities.
By being present in these spaces, youth workers can get to know young people, build trust over time and provide support when it is needed.

How Outreach Works
Building Trust Over Time
Youth workers spend time getting to know young people, listening to what is happening in their lives and building relationships through regular contact. As trust develops, youths may feel more comfortable opening up about challenges they are facing or asking for support.
Whether the first connection happens in the community or online, YGOS continues to meet youths where they are.

Part of YGOS'S Continuum of Care
Reaching Youths Early
M.O.S.T. and Cyber Outreach form part of YGOS's preventive work, allowing youth workers to connect with young people early and remain accessible in the spaces they spend time in.
Where further support is needed, youths can also be connected to other YGOS programmes and services.
