Remedial
Early Intervention, Positive Change & Reintegration
As an Integrated Service Provider (ISP) appointed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), YGOS delivers structured intervention programmes for youths who have come into contact with the law or are at risk of offending.
Through counselling, family intervention and coordinated support, we help young people understand their choices, address underlying challenges and work towards positive change.
Our support extends beyond programme completion. Where appropriate, we continue walking alongside youths and their families through post-care services, helping them sustain their progress, reduce the risk of reoffending and reintegrate into the community.

Triage System
Identifying the Right Support Early
The Triage System provides social work assessment for young people who have come into contact with the Police.
Working alongside the investigation process, the assessment helps identify the young person's needs and whether appropriate cases may be diverted from the criminal justice system towards community-based support.
Guidance Programme (GP) / GP-PAST
Helping Young People Find a Different Way Forward
The Guidance Programme provides individualised support for young people who have committed minor offences.
Through one-to-one counselling and family intervention, youths are supported to work through issues such as decision-making, conflict and emotional wellbeing, while setting goals for the future.
Positive Adolescent Sexuality Treatment (GP PAST)
GP-PAST is a six-month diversionary programme for first-time juvenile offenders who have committed minor sexual offences.
The programme provides structured intervention and support to address the young person's needs and reduce the risk of further offending.
Streetwise Programme (SWP) & Enhanced Streetwise Programme (ESWP)
Helping Youths Step Away From Gang Involvement
The Streetwise Programme and Enhanced Streetwise Programme support youths involved in or at risk of gang-related activities.
Through a structured six-month programme, youths receive guidance and support to address the factors behind their involvement, make different choices and strengthen the relationships and support around them.
Post Care Programme
Supporting Progress Beyond the Programme
Completing an intervention programme is an important step, but maintaining positive changes takes time.
YGOS's Post Care Programme provides continued support to youths following their participation in intervention programmes, helping them build on their progress, navigate ongoing challenges and stay connected to positive sources of support.
Residential Care Transition Support
Support for the Transition Home
Leaving residential care can be a significant transition.
YGOS provides support to young people transitioning from residential care, helping them reconnect with family and community, adjust to everyday life and work towards greater stability.
Our services include:
Singapore Girls' Home Post-Care Support Service (PCSS)
Delivered jointly by YGOS and REACH Community Services, the Singapore Girls' Home Post-Care Support Service (PCSS) provides continued guidance and support to young people leaving residential care as they adjust to life back in the community.
Singapore Boys' Home Day Release Scheme
Supports youths in gradually reconnecting with life outside the Home while continuing their rehabilitation.
Our Impact Outcomes
Supporting Positive Change That Lasts
Our remedial work focuses on three key outcomes:
Reduced Risky Behaviours & Reoffending
Supporting youths in making positive choices and reducing behaviours that may put themselves or others at risk.
Greater Responsibility & Resilience
Helping young people take responsibility for their choices and build the resilience to navigate challenges.
Healthy Choices
Equipping youths to make informed decisions and develop positive habits.
Stronger Family & Community Connections
Strengthening the relationships and support networks that help youths move forward.
Referrals & Partnerships
Working Together Around the Young Person
Intervention rarely involves one organisation alone.
YGOS works with families, schools, government agencies and other professionals involved in the young person's care to provide coordinated support.
